This Jewish-Sikh wedding managed last month by Plush Events & Weddings at the Samode Palace was all about beautiful views, vintage cars and a regal flavour!
Day 1 kicked off with the Sangeet ceremony where everything was worked around keeping in mind the Indian Royal theme. Customised tablescapes with handmade wooden animals like elephants, peacock, horse and tiger (Inspiration came from the couple’s wedding card) along with royal blue table runners which were especially made for this event.
Simple touches of gold with white and red flowers set the perfect mood for the evening! Outside the Darbar Hall was set the long, elegant dinner table decorated with white floral centerpieces, rustic mismatched wooden boxes with the couple’s initials, crisp dinnerware and dark wooden chairs.
Day 2 morning started with a colourful Mehendi ceremony at Samode Bagh, however this November afternoon was more than just that!
With masseuses relaxing the guests and a talented female bartender making some delicious cocktails to impress everyone’s taste buds!
The decor saw an influence of Rajasthani handicraft with the use of genda phool and thelas for chaat counters.
The same evening saw a more formal sit down dinner-cocktail with a red carpet welcome for the guests with only a play of white with lights amidst the gorgeous setting of the palace along with the shiny vintage cars.
